    Hi Sue,

     

    We had some great seminars at on the ins-and-outs of competition recently at our local affiliate PPAM.  There are lots of resources online at ppa.com (one linked below) and you can find a local photographer who has been entering competitions and ask them for some guidance.  One good way to learn more about competition is to volunteer for the Print Committee.  I'm sure Lorraine Bedell would love to have some more hands to assist.

    okay good to know, will sign up to help out at PPANE maybe. It is logistically a little harder being 5-8 hours drive. I looked at the cases at Adorama, but maybe i should stick to digital entries till i get my feet wet,
